Avalon Braided Hair Style

The style featured here was seen in the movie, "Mists of Avalon," worn by a young Morgaine.

Start this style with a center part. Divide the front half of your hair into four equal sections. Using a Inside-Out French Braid technique, as found here, plait each section working from front to back to just behind the ear.

Gather the hair at the back and center of the crown and make a plain braid. Divide the bottom back section of your hair in half and braid each side.

Using ribbon, tie the top left braid to the bottom left braid. Repeat with the right side braids.

Decorate the ends with more ribbon to complete this style.
