Chinese Braided Updo

This is a gorgeous braided updo that is easily achieved using a pair of Dressy Tresses custom made hair sticks.

Step 1:

Start by making two simple braids half way up the back of the head and as close together as you can make them. Using a 6" or longer Dressy Tresses hair stick slide it through two loose braids.

Step 2:

Take the two braids at the bottom and cross them under the stick and then bring each braid under the sides of the stick and up to the top of the head. Cross the braids again and then bring any extra length back down under the stick and tuck the ends underneath.

Step 3:

Using a second hair stick push it through the outer top braid and weave back towards the center of the head and back out the bottom outer braid. This should secure the style but you may need a bobby pin or two to tuck in the very ends of the braids.
